Sara Melberger is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She earned her Masters Degree from Centenary University in Clinical Counseling with a New Jersey School Counseling Certification, and received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Rutgers University.
Sara has experience working with children and adolescents in both an individual and group setting, who struggle with depression, anxiety, self-harm, school-related issues, and a range of other mental illnesses. Sara also has experience working with adults who are undergoing difficult life changes, career stress, and general mental health concerns.
Sara believes in providing a safe and supportive atmosphere which fosters a collaborative therapeutic experience for each individual she works with. Using a combination of Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Techniques, Sara aims to help her clients develop resilience and effective coping skills through identifying and utilizing personal strengths.
