Become a Therapy Resources Network Provider
We are passionate about increasing access to affordable behavioral healthcare services. Achieving this goal is contingent on expanding the availability of therapists in the field. Therapy Resources strives to create an opportunity and an environment where professionals can be successful in private practice. We have found that the best way for providers to be successful is to allow them to focus on client care above all else, while being supported by a team that is responsible for the administration of their practice.
Why Therapy Resources of Morris County?
Because we are dedicated to the field of behavioral health and know that there is a large population of under-serviced consumers that are in need of trusted, professional, reliable and experienced therapists. We also know that private practice, while rewarding, is challenging and creates significant barriers to entry that Therapy Resources is driven to eliminate. Our model allows the network therapist to achieve autonomy and the many benefits of private practice while being supported by a full service management team.
If you are interested in joining the practice as an independent contracted provider in private practice and supported by the infrastructure and collaboration of Therapy Resources, or are interested in finding out more about becoming a Therapy Resources network provider, please contact us at info@therapyresourcesmc.com.
Intercultural Counseling Environment
The Therapy Resources Network environment provides unique experiences for the counselor. Our environment integrates an inclusion model related to learning and experiencing intercultural counseling practices. This initiative is lead by Dorian Head, LPC, ACS, our Intercultural Policy Advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion providing advisement and education to our counselors.
The Intercultural Policy Advocate focuses on creating a clinical environment that supports the diverse cultural backgrounds of both clients and therapists. In practice, an intercultural policy advocate prefers models that emphasize cultural humility, trauma-informed care, and anti-oppression frameworks as they focus on respect, inclusivity, and sensitivity to power dynamics in therapeutic relationships. This involves several layers of policy development, education, and advisement in all areas, from the Intake process to Supervisory approaches, aimed towards ensuring culturally sensitive care and promoting equity within the practice.
The Inclusion Model consists of the following:
