Carly Pasquale, LAC, NCC

Carly is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with a Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology with a minor in Creative Writing from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She provides individual counseling for adults aged 18+, and has experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic health issues, grief and loss, aging-related challenges, phase of life transitions, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, substance abuse, and women’s and men’s issues.

Carly believes in building a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients and views this connection as a vital factor in promoting growth and change. She is committed to meeting her clients where they are at and walking alongside them on their journeys of hardship, growth, and healing. She utilizes an eclectic, strengths-based approach to meet the individualized needs of her clients, drawing on person-centered therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and narrative therapy to foster autonomy, acceptance, meaning-making, and wellness in her clients.

Carly has a personal connection to both mental and chronic physical health issues, equipping her with increased awareness of the mind-body connection, as well as deep empathy and dedication to those who enter under her care. Carly is passionate about the well-being of older adults, and has a unique connection to this often overlooked and underserved population in mental health care. Aligning with her interests in grief work and end-of-life care, Carly serves as a volunteer with LilyCare Hospice of New Jersey to further support older adults and their families. She provides a warm and supportive environment for her clients to identify goals and work toward becoming the best versions of themselves.
