Marissa Kraemer, LAC, NCC
Marissa is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a CACREP-accredited program. Marissa also earned a Bachelor's degree from Monmouth University where she studied psychology. Marissa has been gaining experience in the mental health field since 2018 through various work experiences and internships.
Marissa has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, grief, eating disorders, gender dysphoria, personality disorders, trauma, and behavioral difficulties. Marissa incorporates various therapeutic modalities into her work with individuals and uses the clients presenting problems to lead her therapeutic direction. Marissa utilizes humor, education, and mindfulness into her sessions.
Marissa is dedicated to providing the best possible care and allowing individuals the space to process their experiences without judgment. She provides a safe space to allow the client to feel comfortable engaging in open discussion and prides herself on her ability to build rapport with her clients.
