Philippa is a Licensed Associate Counselor and National Certified Counselor who integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Existential approaches, all grounded in a strength-based perspective. She believes every client carries resilience within themselves, and that therapy is a collaborative process of uncovering and strengthening those inner resources. Her integrative style blends practical DBT skills with deep emotional exploration and existential reflection, helping clients find meaning and direction while building confidence in navigating life’s challenges.

She works with adults and teens, including those who identify as neurodiverse, offering a safe and affirming space for diverse experiences and perspectives. Philippa supports clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, and parenting concerns, helping them develop coping strategies and build resilience. In addition to individual therapy, she works with couples, with a special interest in intercultural dynamics. She views every couple as intercultural in some way and helps partners navigate differences in background, values, and communication styles with curiosity and respect.

Philippa holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from Capella University, a Postgraduate Certificate in Psychology from Liverpool University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Art from Lancaster University in the UK. Her work is guided by the belief that healing begins with honoring each person’s unique story and fostering hope for the future.
